First heard of this company from Iain Richardson's blog, and now I'm beginning to get interested in the idea and the technology behind this. Again, more and more technologies are coming out related to cloud computing, hpc, and parallel computing. It does confirm that concepts in compressed video over networks is important to understand this technology.
Will check out this video soon...

new H.264 book
Following Iain Richardson's blog at vcodex, I learned that he wrote a new book on H.264. Knowing this, the first thing I did was to request our University library to purchase a copy so that I can read it. It's a great feeling when the University actually listens to your request and buys a book from a student's recommendation!
So it looks like I'll be one of the first people to read this book!! I can't wait. I'm looking forward to reading a summary of recent research works around H.264 in the last few years, and what the direction of the next video codec is.
I'm also looking to review the book after I've read it. Stay tuned.
